Local non-profits brace for winter, Fresno Mission opens new crisis shelter

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno Mission opened its brand-new Winter Crisis Shelter Monday night.

“This winter crisis, shelter is really a place of last resort. This is a place where, when you go when there’s no other options, when all the beds and all the other shelters are full,” CEO Matt Dildine said.
