SOUTH CAROLINA — Two people were injured early Sunday morning in a shooting outside a QuikTrip on Bypass 123, according to the Seneca Police Department.
Police said the incident occurred around 2 a.m. Investigators reported that the shooter had been inside the store, then walked outside and fired multiple shots into a vehicle that was attempting to leave. Both occupants of the vehicle were struck and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. They were later released.
Using surveillance footage, officers identified the suspect as Justin Lee Mitchell. He has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, discharging into an occupied vehicle, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and unlawful possession of a firearm…
