Man charged after biting police K9 in Alamance County, warrants show

BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — A man was charged after he bit a police K9 while being served an arrest warrant, according to Alamance County court records.

On Monday, an officer with the Burlington Police Department was attempting to serve Lashaun Warren Crump, 44, of Burlington, with a felony warrant when he assaulted K9 Talon by “biting him on the left ear with the intent to maime, causing acute pain.”
