MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the Memphis Child Advocacy Center raised the Children’s Memorial Flag in memory of 3-year-old Kevin Horton.
Horton was fatally beaten by father’s girlfriend has been charged in his death; the flag will fly for one week.
The Memphis CAC raises the Children’s Memorial Flag at their center on Poplar Avenue whenever a parent or caregiver is charged with homicide in a Shelby County child’s death.
Horton was found unresponsive, on November 15, after MPD arrived at his home after an emergency call. The 3-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene…
