Man charged after kidnapping 2 people at gunpoint in East Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man accused of kidnapping two people at gunpoint in East Nashville was arrested Tuesday after evading arrest for more than two weeks.

According to court documents, two men were approached by an armed man in an alley behind Citgo in the 700 block of Dickerson Pike on Nov. 16. The suspect reportedly fired a shot into the air, and used the weapon to hit one of the victims in the head before firing another shot toward the ground, grazing the victim’s foot.

The two men were then forced into the trunk of vehicle by the gunman and one victim called 911, allowing police to ping their location.

The suspect reportedly drove for a while before stopping the vehicle on Lischey Avenue, where he was joined by another gunman who assisted with taking a victim’s belongings and hitting both with guns. When Metro officers arrived to the pinged location, both gunmen fled and avoided arrest…
