An unlicensed driver from Mexico man was arrested after being stopped at Sunoco.
A deputy spotted a red 2017 Ford Focus traveling eastbound on State Road 44 in Wildwood around 6:40 a.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. A check of the tag revealed the registered owner, 35-year-old Cesar Valencia Fernandez of Zephyrhills, did not have a driver’s license or an ID.
Seeing this, the deputy stopped him at Sunoco, located at 900 S Main St. He admitted he did not have a license and instead handed over a Mexico ID. A check of his information through dispatch confirmed he did not have a license or U.S. ID, the report said…
