A man died after his car veered into a Philadelphia creek located in an area where locals say crashes are all too common.
The crash occurred at 4 p.m. local time on Sunday, Nov. 30 in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia, according to a news release from the Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) that was obtained by PEOPLE.
Police said a 65-year-old man was operating a 2005 silver BMW along Cresheim Valley Drive when he “lost control of the vehicle, struck a downed guard rail, and flipped upside down into the creek.”…
