Three people were arrested after Ventura County deputies seized hundreds of counterfeit pills and other narcotics from a vehicle parked outside the Ojai Skateboard Park, where a large number of kids were nearby, authorities announced Monday.
The incident began around 1:31 p.m. on Nov. 24, when a concerned resident called sheriff’s dispatch to report three suspicious individuals sitting inside a parked vehicle. The caller said the group appeared to be drinking alcohol and using narcotics in the skate park parking lot, which was busy with children at the time, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies with the Ojai Police Department responded and contacted the occupants, all of whom live in Los Angeles. While speaking with the trio, deputies observed an open alcohol container, drug paraphernalia and signs that all three were under the influence of a controlled substance, officials said…
