A luxurious bayfront estate in Oyster Bay Estates outside downtown Sarasota was recently listed for sale at $26.4 million — the highest asking price for a piece of residential real estate in the County.
Villa Meraviglia, which translates to a “Home Beyond Imagination,” was an addition to the region’s Multiple Listing Service on Monday. At 1310 S. Lake Shore Drive, Dianne Anderson of Compass Florida-Sarasota represents the home’s owner, Dr. Gene Myers.
By region comparison, planned new-construction homes on Lido Key and Siesta Key, which are slightly smaller than Villa Meraviglia, list at more than $20 million, according to Realtor.com…
