Furry Friends: Meet the marvelous Melvin!

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—WFXR News highlights pets ready for adoption in area shelters through our weekly segment, Furry Friends!

On Tuesday, December 2, Kathy Bauman and Anita Finkle with the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection (RCACP) brought Melvin to the WFXR News Studio.

Four-year-old Melvin is a playful pup looking for his forever home. This curious boy loves attention and enjoys being around people. He does well on car rides and is up for an adventure!

Furry Friends: Bug Eyed Frank has a big personality!

One of Melvin’s favorite things is food! If you’re a messy cook, he will likely clean up after you. While he gets along with other dogs, Melvin may try to sneak a few bites out of their bowls. He’s not aggressive, but he is a food enthusiast!

Melvin would like to find a loving new home ahead of the holidays. All that he asks for is plenty of attention and tasty treats!
