On November 29, 2025, Corpus Christi Police responded to a theft in progress at the 5000 block of S Padre Island Dr. An officer assigned to the area as part of the Department’s Holiday Initiative Plan was present and apprehended Paul Roman, 62. Roman was found with the stolen items. Loss Prevention staff identified the suspect. He was charged with Theft Shoplifting, a Class B Misdemeanor.
