Once again, the Arkansas State Police have stopped another person who was allegedly trafficking drugs through the state. In the early hours of Wednesday, November 26, an Arkansas State Police trooper made a routine traffic stop.
That traffic stop quickly turned into a major drug bust. Around 3:30 AM, the trooper pulled over a 2008 Toyota traveling eastbound on Interstate 40 near London in Pope County for a traffic violation.

Large Amount of Illegal Drugs Discovered During Arkansas Traffic Stop
During a search of the vehicle, troopers uncovered seventeen large trash bags filled with vacuum-sealed packages of illegal marijuana. In total, the marijuana weighed in at approximately 448 pounds. Troopers also found another trash bag containing what is believed to be cocaine. The discovery is one of the larger drug seizures in the area in recent months. You can’t help but wonder how big that Toyota was!
Driver Arrested and Facing Felony Charges in Arkansas
The driver, 57-year-old Tuan Nmi Tran, was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Pope County Detention Center.
