Wichita man seriously hurt in I-70 crash

WICHITA, Kan (KSNW) — A Wichita man was seriously injured Tuesday in a crash in Russell County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said it happened around 7:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70, just west of the Bunker Hill exit.

Troopers said a 51-year-old man was driving west when, for an unknown reason, his Ford F-150 left the roadway. The truck tipped over, overturned in the ditch and came to a stop.

The man was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita for treatment…
