Four Arlington ISD High Schools Recognized Nationally for Excellence

Four high schools in the Arlington Independent School District (ISD) have been included in the U.S. News & World Report list of top schools in the nation. The schools are Arlington Collegiate High School, Arlington College and Career High School, Martin High School, and Seguin High School. The recognition is based on academic performance and student outcomes.

Arlington Collegiate and Arlington College and Career are early college high schools. In Texas, about 40% of early college students graduate with both a high school diploma and an associate degree. At these two Arlington ISD schools, over 90% of students reach this goal. Principal Jeff Krieger of Arlington Collegiate noted the work of teachers and students.

Seguin and Martin high schools also received recognition. Seguin Principal Billy Linson and Martin Principal Marlene Roddy mentioned the contributions of their school communities and ongoing efforts to maintain standards…
