Suspect arrested after leading UHP on pursuit through multiple counties

A man in a stolen truck was arrested early Wednesday after leading Utah Highway Patrol troopers on a pursuit through Davis and Salt Lake counties that reached speeds over 100 miles per hour.

Cameron Silveira, 42, was arrested and faces multiple charges after he attempted to flee on foot when the stolen truck he was in was stopped heading the wrong way on the highway by a trooper who performed a PIT maneuver on the vehicle.
