Sheriff’s Office: Neighbor’s ‘long-standing feud’ turns deadly in Weld County shooting

DENVER (KDVR) — Detectives are investigating a deadly shooting involving Weld County neighborhood residents after “a long-standing feud” with one another, according to police.

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office said a male suspect is dead and a male victim is in “critical but stable condition” after a shooting on Wednesday occured in the 4200 block of Grand Tenton Road.

At around 1:21 a.m. Weld County patrol deputies responded to a shooting and met with a resident, who is being identified as the male victim, the sheriff’s office said.
