A sprawling stone Victorian in Upstate New York has finally sold — and for far less than its original price tag.

The 19th-century mansion on University Place in Schenectady, packed with period charm, hidden staircases, and more carved wood than a small forest, changed hands this month for $310,000, according to property records.
