ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — Neighbors in the Cameron Station community said they’ve been left with piles of garbage and nowhere to put it after their trash removal company collected their bins without warning.
Residents said the situation stems from a dispute between their homeowners’ association and Bates Trucking Trash Removal. The HOA recently ended its contract with the company in favor of a more cost-efficient hauler beginning next year.
“Where am I going to put my trash?” resident Tim Bain said.
