Charges filed against Indy man accused of firing 15 shots at strangers in Broad Ripple

INDIANAPOLIS — Felony charges have been filed against an Indianapolis man accused of firing more than a dozen shots at strangers in Broad Ripple.

Early Saturday morning, police claim the suspect got into a verbal dispute with three people he didn’t know in Broad Ripple. That conflict ended with the suspect firing at least 15 shots.

Officers who were close enough to hear the gunfire quickly arrested the accused shooter, 25-year-old Tyrin Pope, within minutes of the shooting…
