Laurens County woman accused of defrauding over $20K from SCDEW

COLUMBIA, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged a Laurens County woman with fraud on Tuesday.

According to arrest warrants, 24-year-old Dynasty Rochelle Cunningham filed a Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) claim online with the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW) for $26,851.10. Cunningham claimed that her place of employment, My Global Destinations, was located in West Columbia and shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic. The travel agency is located in Columbia.
