Officers Remain Dedicated to the Safety of Cayce Citizens
CAYCE, S.C. — The Cayce Police Department (CPD) has made significant arrests in two separate cases—one stemming from a violent assault investigation and another from a proactive undercover narcotics operation. These efforts reflect the department’s continued commitment to maintaining public safety and aggressively pursuing criminal activity within the community.
ITEM ONE: Additional Sexual Exploitation of a Minor Charges Filed
Following CPD’s investigation into an assault in the Riverland Park area on October 23, the Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant at 520 Riverside Lane. The search uncovered multiple firearms and substantial quantities of narcotics. Four individuals were taken into custody as a result of the investigation:
- Micala Nicole Baucom
- Casey Taylor Price
- Jennifer Marie Owens
- Stephen Allen Rhein
Each remains in custody and faces multiple charges related to the assault, as well as numerous narcotics and weapons violations.
During the arrest of Price, officers seized two mobile devices as evidence. A forensic examination of the devices later revealed that Price had been actively involved in the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM)…
