Fresno CEO in $7M scheme arrested trying to fly to Africa: DOJ

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The CEO of a Fresno-based home health care company was arrested at the airport while attempting to board a flight to Africa, the federal Department of Justice announced on Wednesday.

Federal prosecutors say Cashmir Chinedu Luke of Antioch, believed to be 66 years old, was arrested at San Francisco International Airport as he was attempting to board a flight to Nigeria. Prosecutors say in his role as the CEO of Fresno-based Four Corners Health LLC., he fraudulently took over $7 million in payments from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
