LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — It is a topic that has been discussed for years: the need for Lexington’s government to find a new home.
The city said on Dec. 2 that its government center, in the old Lafayette Hotel, needs $55 million for basic maintenance and repairs.
Leaders said it does not make sense to keep pouring money into a building that has been around since 1920.
