HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Just like the race to be the next Governor of Alabama, the race for Lieutenant Governor has added a candidate already well-known in the state.
Former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron, a political newcomer, entered the race for Lt. Governor in late October, and he’s finished his first month of fundraising.
The Governor’s race now includes former U.S. Sen. Doug Jones, who entered that race in late November. Campaign finance records for November show Jones has already raised the most money among Democrats in that race…
