NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Every gun leaves unique marks on a cartridge when it’s fired, so federal authorities are using those marks to link firearms to crimes.
According to recent numbers from the Metro Nashville Police Department, of the 1,151 guns stolen in Davidson County so far this year, 887 were stolen from vehicles.
