SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. — A school resource officer is changing how students see law enforcement one lunch at a time. It’s called Dine with a Deputy, and it’s already making a difference.
“They’re just little people, but in their world, they’re, it’s tough,” Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office Deputy Anthony Jordan said. “I felt that I needed to figure out a way to build some trust, and I needed something personable.”
