A Delco couple is in jail after they allegedly fired multiple shots at deputies attempting to arrest a man on outstanding warrants.
Dale Douglas Malpass, 54, of Kelly’s Plantation Road, was wanted for failure to appear on a misdemeanor, according to warrants. He and Sallie Ann Hewett, 38, were arrested in the Tuesday incident.
Malpass was charged with five counts of assault with a firearm on a law enforcement officer; discharging a firearm into occupied property; possession of a firearm by a felon; and resisting. He was held without bond, according to detention center reports…
