MUSTANG RIDGE, Texas — Mustang Ridge Police Chief Rolando Belmares has been dismissed following a unanimous vote by the city council.
The decision came after a lengthy executive session on Tuesday night, where council members discussed a complaint against Belmares. The complaint alleged that Belmares deleted a significant number of work hours from an officer’s timecard without consent, among other unspecified actions.
