Police Respond to 363 Calls in 24 Hours Across City Districts, Including Child Welfare and Assault Cases

Between 6:00 a.m. on December 2 and 6:00 a.m. on December 3, 2025, local law enforcement responded to 363 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or accidental 911 calls. Calls were distributed across city districts. The East district received 88 calls. Midtown had 77, North had 67, West had 53, Central had 40, South had 27, and 11 calls were classified as ‘Other.’ These included incidents outside city sectors or assistance to other agencies.

During this 24-hour period, officers prioritized only urgent calls at two times due to high call volume and limited staffing. These periods were from 7:28 a.m. to 11:52 a.m. and from 6:23 p.m. to 7:49 p.m. on December 2.

In the West district, officers responded to a death investigation involving a 57-year-old male on hospice care. No suspicious circumstances were found.
