6 inmates at New Orleans jail treated for drug overdose, deputy also experienced symptoms

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Six inmates and a sheriff’s supervisor at the Orleans Parish Jail needed emergency medical treatment after deputies believe they found drugs in the facility this weekend.

It happened Sunday night around 8:30 p.m. in Housing Unit 3F.
