LUBBOCK, Texas—Court documents obtained by EverythingLubbock.com on Wednesday, December 3, revealed additional details after Joshua Garza ,35, was taken into custody for knowingly and recklessly causing bodily harm to a woman by striking her face and hand, court documents revealed that Garza used or exhibited a deadly weapon, namely a golf club, during the commission of the assault.
Police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance call. Upon arrival, police saw the victim had sustained injuries to her face, her lip was swollen on the right side and appeared to be bleeding, and a bruise was forming under her left eye.
