SAINT Free Rides for Seniors and Disabled Program Needs Drivers

Any volunteer organization in Colorado that has been around over 40 years is  going to show signs of strain. One, based out of Loveland and Fort Collins has lasted for decades, but to keep the “wheels in motion,” so to speak, it’s going to take more than “wanting” to assist and more actual effort.

Nobody, at any age, likes the idea of needing to be somewhere important but not being able to get there on their own. Being older and needing a ride gets tough; who to call? How do you even get to the bus stop? Uber is too much to be feasible. When options are “slim to none,” it’s good to have an organization such as SAINT (Senior Alternative in Transportation) to lean on; but what would happen if SAINT wasn’t there, to lean on?…
