SALEM, Ore. — A child is recovering in the hospital after being attacked by what her mother said were two pit bulls on Sunday afternoon.
The child was walking to the front door of her family’s Salem apartment with her 3-year-old sister, when her mother Merissa Corron told KGW News that she noticed the neighboring tenant’s door swing open. Then, the two dogs came lunging out.
