Good news for South Anchorage residents — the Rabbit Creek pedestrian bridge is back open after nearly a year of repairs.
The bridge, which was damaged in a windstorm last January, has finally reopened to students and community members.
Repairs included new metal framing to support the roof, along with updated fencing and railings. While it looks much like the original bridge, engineers say this version is built to last…
