Albany man pleads guilty to gun possession, linked to shootout with Troy Police

Albany, NY (WRGB) — A 40-year-old Albany man who prosecutors say sparked a shootout with Troy Police has now pled guilty to possessing multiple illegal firearms in a separate case in Albany, the Albany County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Michael Broadie pled guilty to Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree for an incident that took place on Sept. 6, 2024.
