THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A 63-year-old resident was zip-tied and beaten with a gun during a violent armed robbery at a Bronx NYCHA building last month, police said Tuesday.
Three armed men allegedly approached the man from behind before pushing him into his apartment near East 143rd Street and Third Avenue at 6:05 a.m. on Nov. 17, according to the NYPD.

The suspects then allegedly zip-tied the victim’s hands and feet and repeatedly hit him on the head with a gun, authorities said. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The trio grabbed jewelry, a cellphone, credit cards, and an unknown amount of money before fleeing the scene, cops said. The victim’s credit cards were later used to make purchases.
