COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — Brockman Elementary School students were dismissed early Wednesday morning due to a water outage caused by a water main break, officials said.
Students were released at 11 a.m., and bag lunches were provided to children before leaving.
The City of Columbia is repairing a 6-inch water line for customers at Bethel Church Road, Montclair Road, Storkland Avenue, Valejo Circle, Atascadero Drive, 3400 to 3700 block of Covenant Road, Robert Springs Drive, Ravenhill Road, Havana Court, 2800 to 2900 block of Willingham Drive, Pointe Vedra Drive, 4700 block of Ravenwood Drive, Fernwood Drive, Roper Drive, Reamer Drive, and Brockman Elementary School.
