GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Some health topics might be difficult to discuss with your doctor. If you’ve ever refrained from doing so out of embarrassment, doctors say you’re not alone.
“Oftentimes, bringing up seemingly embarrassing symptoms can be uncomfortable for a patient,” Ruthie Shuman, nurse practitioner at Bon Secours Saint Francis, told 7NEWS. “They may be afraid of being judged, or their symptoms might be considered too taboo to discuss openly.”
