THURSDAY: Clouds thicken throughout the day with a small chance for a spotty shower or flurries during the day. The bulk of any activity will work in late day. Highs in the upper 30s to low 40s. Winds will be NNE at 5-10 mph.
RAIN/WINTRY MIX THURSDAY NIGHT: A cold rain will move in after sunset through the overnight. It may start as snow or a wintry mix north of I-40 on the Cumberland Plateau into southeast KY. Some accumulation is possible near the TN/KY state line, but will need to watch areas where rain transitions to a wintry mix.
