NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Nashville college student was arrested after taking his final exam this week at Tennessee State University.
According to an arrest affidavit filed with the Metro Nashville Police Department, an officer attempted to pull over a Mercedes driven by 21-year-old Chase Jones for a traffic violation on TSU’s campus on Thursday.
The affidavit states that Jones ignored the patrol vehicle’s flashing blue lights and siren, and continued to drive another quarter-mile before stopping near the R.E. Clay Education Building on Alameda Avenue. The officer reported that Jones then opened the door but remained in the vehicle…
