Rochester, N.Y. — A fourth-alarm fire at an industrial building on the city’s west side last week was accidental, according to Lt. Jackie Sierra of the Rochester Fire Department.
The fire broke out Friday around 3:15 p.m. at a single-story recycling facility on Emerson Street. Roughly 60 firefighters responded due to the size of the structure, heavy flames and the need to rotate personnel, Sierra said.
