A Philadelphia man has been sentenced to eight years of court supervision for helping supply firearms to a multi-county gun-trafficking ring, according to a report.
Emanuel Eduardo Torres, 33, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County Court to participating in the illegal transfer of four guns to Scott Michael Grondin, the leader of a firearms and drug-trafficking organization operating in Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, and Philadelphia counties. Torres received a sentence of 52 days already served to 23 months in jail, followed by six years of probation.
According to reports, their ring trafficked at least 17 firearms, only seven of which have been recovered, and distributed methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana. Many of the guns had their serial numbers removed to hinder investigations…
