AUSTIN (KXAN) – A professor in Texas has become an unlikely detective on as many as 200 criminal cases, according to Texas A&M University.
Dr. Jeff Tomberlin utilizes entomology and the insect life-cycle to assist investigators in unearthing a potentially vital clue for criminal investigations: an estimate of how long someone has been dead.
