Austin to hire legal representation amid DOJ ‘race-based employment’ investigation

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The city of Austin added an agenda item for Dec. 11 related to an ongoing Justice Department investigation into the city’s hiring and employment practices.

The agenda item involved the authorization for legal representation related to the investigation.
