Just in time for the holiday shopping season to really heat up, Amazon is now launching drone delivery for select cities including some new areas in Texas. This doesn’t mean everything that Amazon sells will be able to be delivered via drone, but a lot of products will be, for select Texans and at a price.
Amazon Begins Drove Delivery in Dallas-Fort Worth
According to the Dallas Morning News, Amazon has launched it’s drone delivery service in Richardson, joining other Texas cities like Waco and San Antonio as cities that have Amazon’s drove service. Customers can order thousands of objects and get them within an hour. The delivery service does cost $4.99 though according to the Dallas Morning News.
