Schnuck Markets Inc., in partnership with produce logistics and marketing platform Foodshed.io, is expanding a farm-to-store delivery concept, boosting the number and types of local suppliers from which company sources, all with the aim of increasing the flavor and freshness of produce. The Midwestern grocer’s pilot program began in fall 2024 with one farm supplying various Schnucks locations across the St. Louis metro area. Following the pilot’s success, Schnucks has widened the program this year to include additional farmers and more store locations.
