SALEM, Ore. (KPTV) – A 1-year-old child was attacked by two dogs in Salem and is now in a Portland hospital recovering a serious head injury and bite wounds.
Merissa Corron said she was returning to her northeast Salem apartment from church on Sunday with her two daughters, ages three and 16 months, when the routine walk to her front door turned brutal.
At the entryway to their apartment, she said she heard two dogs inside her next door neighbor’s apartment, trying to get out. Corron says one dog belongs to the neighbor. She believes the other is that of a family member…
