With more than 49% of the U.S. population aged 15 and older being unmarried and the cost of dating steadily rising, the personal-finance company WalletHub today released its report on the Best & Worst Cities for Singles in 2026, as well as expert commentary, alongside its new Financial Secrets Survey, to help people maximize their chances of finding love without breaking the bank.
WalletHub compared more than 180 U.S. cities across 35 key indicators of dating-friendliness. The data set ranges from the share of the population that is single to the number of online dating opportunities to the average price for a two-person meal.
