BALTIMORE, MD (WBFF) — Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating several carjacking incidents, where delivery drivers were targeted in the Guilford neighborhood.
Police said on November 16, in the 4200 block of Greenway, they spoke with a victim who was dropping something off at a friend’s house when an SUV suddenly pulled up to her car. Police said a male suspect wearing a blue hoodie got out of the vehicle, opened the victim’s passenger door, climbed over to the driver’s side and then drove off.
Days later on November 20, officers responded to an armed carjacking around the 4300 block of Norwood Avenue. Police spoke with a victim who said he was delivering a package, and after doing so, was walking toward his vehicle which was already running with the keys in the ignition. Authorities said the victim heard the car doors of his vehicle closing, and immediately started running toward the car. However, at that time, the suspects began to move the vehicle toward him, hitting him in the leg. Police said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries…
