Virginia coach Tony Elliott said Wednesday that there have been talks about quarterback Chandler Morris returning for another year with the Cavaliers.
“Still, that’s to be determined,” Elliott said. “So, not going to say if that’s going to happen or not. So we’re planning as if it’s not. So we want to continue to bring in guys (at the quarterback position).”
Morris just finished his sixth year of college football and led UVA to a 10-2 season and a spot in Saturday night’s ACC Championship game against Duke (8 p.m., ABC).
